SubCal Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

The subscription management app “SubCal” (hereinafter referred to as the “App”) values user privacy.
The App does not use external analytics tools or advertising SDKs. We collect only the minimum necessary data and handle it securely on servers managed by the provider.
This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, and protects information.

2. Information Collected

The App may collect the following types of information.

2.1 Information Provided by Users

Information voluntarily provided by users, such as feedback or support inquiries.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

2.2.1 Server Access Logs

The App accesses servers and communication infrastructure managed by the provider for the following purposes:

  • Retrieving the latest currency exchange rates
  • Sending usage data (only with your consent)

During these accesses, the following information is automatically recorded in logs for server operation and fraud prevention purposes:

  • Access date and time
  • IP address
  • Accessed endpoints

These logs are not used for usage pattern or behavior analysis and are deleted after a certain period.

2.2.2 Usage Data (Optional)

Only with your consent, the App collects the following information in a non-personally identifiable form for the purpose of quality improvement and feature enhancement:

Information We Collect:
  • OS and app version
  • App language settings
  • Date of use (excluding time)
  • Number of times specific features are used
  • Number of times the App or specific screens are opened
  • Availability of device-specific features
  • Approximate number of registered subscriptions and categories
  • Types and frequency of errors or crashes (limited to classification information such as error codes and excluding detailed logs)
  • Random ID that changes daily and is only used during transmission *1
  • Reception timestamp automatically assigned by the server *1

*1 Promptly deleted after statistical aggregation.

Information We Do Not Collect:
  • Input content such as names, amounts, and notes of your registered subscriptions
  • Personally identifiable information (such as device unique IDs)

Please note that your registered data is synchronized through iCloud linked to your Apple Account, and the provider cannot access its contents.
Usage data is stored separately from server access logs, and individual data is deleted after statistical aggregation.

How to Stop Data Collection:

You can stop data collection at any time from the App settings. Once stopped, no data will be sent.

3. Purpose of Use

The collected information is used for the following purposes.

  • Development and improvement of the App
  • Provision of user support
  • Reduction of server load
  • Prevention and response to fraudulent activities

4. Sharing of Information

The Provider does not share Users’ personal information with third parties except in the following cases.

  • When the User has given consent
  • When disclosure is required by law

5. Protection of Information

The Provider takes reasonable measures to protect the collected information.
However, since data transmission over the Internet is not completely secure, the Provider cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. User Rights

Users have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information.
However, since the App does not collect personally identifiable information as a general rule, we may not be able to disclose data tied to specific individuals.

7. Changes to This Policy

The Provider may update this Policy as necessary.
If there are significant changes to the contents of this Policy, Users will be notified within the App.
Minor changes that do not materially affect users will not be individually notified.
